FAQ
Detailing removes invisible contaminants, protects the paintwork, extends the life of surfaces, facilitates future maintenance, and enhances the value of your vehicle for resale or driving pleasure. Each service is tailored to the model, age, and use of the vehicle.
All packages include the following services:
- Complete interior and exterior wash
- Bodywork decontamination
- Nano ceramic sealant
- Door edge cleaning
- Wheel arch cleaning
Carpet and seat shampooing are included in the Deluxe package. One-step polishing and engine cleaning are included in the Premium package. Please refer to the packages page.
The time depends on the package chosen: a quick service takes around 1.5 to 2 hours, while a complete detailing service such as the “Signature” styling can take up to 4 to 6 hours.
We recommend a complete wash and interior detailing every 3 to 6 months. For a luxury or sports car, a more comprehensive detailing session (polishing + protection) is ideal every year.
Ceramic treatment (also known as nano-protection) is a durable protective coating that chemically bonds to the surface, providing protection against UV rays, light scratches, and stains, and making future cleaning easier. Its duration varies between 1 and 3 years depending on wear and tear.
Nano-ceramic sealant acts as a durable chemical barrier that protects paint from UV rays, chemicals, oxidation, water spots, and dirt. It makes the vehicle’s surface hydrophobic, making it easier to clean and enhancing its shine, but does not offer protection against physical impacts.
Paint Protection Film (PPF), on the other hand, is a transparent, durable layer that protects the bodywork from gravel impacts, scratches, abrasions, and rock chips.
At Velto, we often recommend a combination of both: installing PPF film on the most exposed areas (bumpers, hood, front fenders), then applying the nano-ceramic sealant on top to provide both physical and chemical protection, as well as a shiny, durable finish.
Yes, nano-protection can be added as an option to our basic exterior wash package.
Since the sealant must adhere perfectly to the surface to provide optimal protection and shine, a complete exterior wash is always required before application. This ensures long-lasting results and a flawless finish without having to redo the entire vehicle.
Some fine scratches can be corrected by polishing, while micro-scratches can often be reduced. Deep scratches require more complex treatment (sanding, paint touch-ups), often carried out in partnership with a body shop.

It is a process in which solid particles of carbon dioxide (dry ice) are propelled at high speed with air under high pressure to impact and clean a surface.
Sandblasting is similar to using a punch, while dry ice spraying is similar to using a spatula. The sand chisels the contaminant. Dry ice wins.
